Good online resources for selling your home by owner or with the help of real estate agents (non-exclusive listings) have been much harder to find; until now.

Why most for sale by owner online guides are useless or harmful:

Most online information for fsbo sellers are actually on websites created by real estate agents and brokers.

These web sites are not in place for your benefit, they are:

• marketing efforts to lure in FSBO sellers and tap what is referred to as “the FSBO gold mine” by real estate agents

The truth is, with the advent of the internet, real estate agents simply are not required in order to sell your home or buy a home. In fact, using a real estate agent to sell your home or buy a new home may be a costly mistake.

Working with a real estate agent to buy your home or buying a home being sold through a real estate agent may cost you an additional 16% or more according to the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Based on NAR’s research, your home will be more affordable if you purchase it directly from the owner and bypass the real estate agent.
